Summer School Programme
The programme combines an engaging blend of lectures, case presentations, interactive workshops, and opportunities for discussion with our expert teaching faculty. Delegates will gain specialist knowledge in hypertension management, together with advocacy and communication skills with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes for people living with high blood pressure.
Day 1
Opens with a welcome address from the co-directors, followed by sessions on global perspectives and the role of emerging digital technologies in the management of hypertension.
Day 2
Focuses on the 4S approach to the management of hypertension. An afternoon communication skills workshop provides a forum for delegates and faculty to discuss innovative, regionally relevant solutions to improve the global management of hypertension.
Day 3
Covers the management of hypertension in special situations including among young people, during pregnancy, resistant hypertension, secondary hypertension and hypertensive crisis. The Summer School ends with an opportunity to reflect and consolidate future collaborations.
